Frequently Asked Questions

At Phi Society our goal is to produce pure flowers grown without pesticides, herbicides, or any other potentially harmful substances. We will sell our pure flower either in bulk or in pre-packaged flower that we process on site. We will also sell our flower in pre-rolls.

You will be able to buy Phi Society Flower in licensed dispensaries in Minnesota in late 2025 or early 2026.

Phi Society applied to the Office of Cannabis Management on 2/19/25 for a Cannabis Microbusiness license. On 5/23/25, we achieved our first success when we were informed that our application would be moving forward as Qualified Applicants. On 6/10/25, we were notified by OCM that we had received Preliminary License Approval and that we have 18 months to complete the license requirements.

Cannabis microbusinesses can grow, make, sell, and buy cannabis (including plants and seedlings) and lower-potency hemp products. They can also have on-site lounges where customers can use cannabis.  Phi Society has no plans to have retail spaces or on-site customers on the property and will be a cashless operation.

We plan on expanding from our small cultivation building into a larger 10,000 sq. ft. facility as soon as possible. Once we have this building in operation, we will be expanding our product line to include concentrates and other products that we have in current development.

We will source our genetics from reputable seed banks with consistently reliable plants to ensure the highest quality for our customers.  Our goal is to find balanced strains that will uplift and bring relaxation. In the future we plan to produce our own strains in-house.

Having tried several indoor methodologies over the years, from soil, rock wool, and coco coir media to different hydroponic techniques (ebb and flow, aeroponic, and drip), we finally found a method that spoke to us. We will be cultivating our flowers in a methodology called "Living Soil".

Living soil is a dynamic, self-sustaining ecosystem teeming with beneficial microbes, fungi, and organic matter that work together to nourish plants naturally. Instead of relying on synthetic fertilizers, we cultivate cannabis in beds filled with rich, biologically active soil that mimics the complexity of a healthy outdoor environment. This organic approach promotes robust terpene expression, hardiness, and a deeper connection to the plant.

At Phi Society, living soil aligns with our ethos of regeneration, not depletion. It reflects our commitment to sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, and producing clean, craft cannabis that supports both personal well-being and ecological balance.
